The predominant way in which youth today interact with each other online is through video games.
According to a study released by the Entertainment Software Association of Canada, 89 per cent of Canadians aged 6 to 17 played video games in 2020. The way they spend their time playing is healthier than you might think: the most popular genre in this age group across the country is puzzle and word games.
